Cher auctions Kona home

Cher has sold her newly built Kona, Hawaii home for $8.2 million.

The 8,821-square-foot luxury home, located in the exclusive Hualalai Resort, was auctioned by Concierge Auctions, and was won by a buyer in Arizona.

According to the auction house, the home was designed in the Balinese style and is comprised of a gated center courtyard leading to the main house, which includes a master wing, a great room, a kitchen, a dining room, an outdoor living area, and an infinity pool with a spa overlooking the Hualalai Golf Course and the Pacific Ocean.

Concierge Auctions experienced 110 prospective buyers from around the world, and 25 registered bidders, 7 of whom bid over the phone.
